|Welcome to Leuk’s Landing!
The kitties are glad you stopped by
|Feline Leukemia (FeLV) cats cannot live with healthy cats. Because of this many FeLV cats are euthanized. While the average lifespan of a FeLV "positive" cat is shorter than a healthy cat, there is no reason why they cannot live a happy, healthy life with good care.
While there is no cure for FeLV, there are things we do to boost their immune system to help ward off the onset of illnesses and health problems. At Leuk’s Landing, our goal is to give these cats and kittens a second chance.
We keep the number of kitty residents intentionally low to reduce stress on the cats and kittens and to make sure that every one of them gets sufficient love and attention by our volunteers. If you are interested in adopting a kitty from Leuk's Landing, request an adoption form by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our mission is to offer a second chance to cats and kittens diagnosed with Feline Leukemia (FeLV).
